Cooper Design Space Penthouse, DTLA, November 2018. HDD celebrated 33 years of transforming non-traditional spaces through place-based dance. The evening included performances by HDD dancers, St. Mary’s Academy students, Yvette Holzwarth, as well as a sound installation by Davy Sumner, and a soft sculpture garden by Mimi Haddon. KPCC’s Jon Cohn served as the Master of Ceremonies and HDD honored CREWU Special Assistant to the President with the Social Impact Award, and LADOT General Manager Seleta Reynolds with the Civic Dedication Award.
