The Dr. Kerry English Martin Luther King, Jr. Outpatient Center Creative Fellowship program returns in August 2024!

The Creative Fellowship is a part of Heidi Duckler Dance’s Bridge Program, which was created to support youth who have experienced foster care by introducing them to different art forms and connecting them to opportunities in the arts. The Dr. Kerry English Creative Fellowship is a 4-month-long mentorship program for young adults who have been through the foster care system and have an interest in the arts. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your artistic talents, meet other artists, showcase your work, break into creative industries, or all of the above, please apply! Past fellows have specialized in mediums such as film, music, fashion, dance, writing, animation, and visual art.

Apply here.

The application deadline is Thursday, August 1st at 11:59pm. Check out 2022 fellow, Chyenne Roan-Santini’s reflection on her final showcase to learn more about the program!

Questions about this program can be directed to Engagement Director Jessica Emmanuel at jessica@heididuckler.org.
