Castleberry Hill Arts District, Atlanta, GA
Presented at Flux Projects’ annual Flux Night festival, The Sound of Falling sought a foundation for movement from an abandoned high rise in Atlanta’s Castleberry Hill Arts District. A repeated performance throughout the Flux Night evening, the work constructed a site-specific story around a displaced couple forging a family bond, the retrieval of past memories gathering momentum, and the unexpected beauty filling a vacant, illuminated space.
