October 2020 – THE QUEST was a series of 10 performances that took audiences on a journey through Los Angeles, to the gems of the city that are very near and dear to the company’s hearts. The series served as HDD’s 35th anniversary celebration. The locations are not your typical LA landmarks, instead, they are real spaces for working, learning, healing, playing, dancing, and discovering. Each stop on the series offered a different dance experience and included collaborations with musicians, cinematographers, costume designers, voice actors, and visual artists.
We were also thrilled to honor Dr. Theresa Gregor, Janna Ireland, and Yolanda Vera as part of our celebration.
