Belize Wilheim (she/her) is an Arts Educator and Public Programmer dedicated to creating innovative and inclusive programs that captivate and inspire diverse audiences. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Early Childhood from California State University, East Bay, and began her professional journey as a movement and fine arts teaching artist contributing to a variety of Los Angeles non-profit organizations.
Throughout her career, Belize has held key roles as a program manager at esteemed arts and culture institutions such as the Skirball Cultural Center, Dance Church, and the UCLA Hammer Museum. Additionally, Belize served as the Digital Media Director on the Museum Educators of Southern California board from 2020 to 2022. Currently, she continues to contribute to her beloved dance community through her work as Education Director at Heidi Duckler Dance and as the Director of Residency and Operations of WIP, a monthly dance series supporting local dance artist’s works in progress.
