Heidi Duckler Dance is bringing our beloved Ebb & Flow festival to Exposition Park on Saturday, June 29, 2024!
This is a free, site-specific community art festival. Performances will feature talented local artists integrating dance, visual arts, music, and technology to tell stories about climate change, the environment, and our health.
We are looking for four art makers of varying disciplines to create low-tech installations and performances of 5-7 minutes long that explore the relationships between nature, humanity, and our changing environment.
Audiences will walk on a route through the park to observe the pieces. Works will be performed and viewed multiple times in a row to account for this structure. Previous festivals have occurred at LA State Historic Park, Baldwin Hills City Overlook, and Ballona Creek.
