Heidi Duckler Dance (HDD) proudly announces A Living Legacy, a special exhibition at the Henry P. Rio Bridge Gallery at City Hall, showcasing 40 years of groundbreaking site specific work and the dynamic relationship between dance and architecture.
Opening Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the exhibition features immersive displays of HDD’s archives, from striking photography and video projections to original costumes and choreography. Together, these elements illuminate the company’s enduring commitment to movement, storytelling, and the built environment.
Spanning rooftops, staircases, parks, urban corners, and more, A Living Legacy highlights the ways dance and architecture have coexisted and evolved together throughout HDD’s history, featuring both public and private spaces as stages for imagination and dialogue.
To conclude the exhibition, HDD will present a site-specific performance on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This live performance will bring HDD’s archival journey to life, offering audiences a powerful embodiment of the company’s legacy and ongoing evolution.
