At Heidi Duckler Dance, the environment is a pivotal theme in the work we create. As we celebrate Earth Day 2025, we reflect on the responsibility and opportunity we have as artists to deepen public consciousness about the climate crisis through performance, education, and community engagement.

Since 2018, our Ebb & Flow festival has served as an environmental arts platform that uplifts the voices of artists, environmental activists, and community members dedicated to ecological justice. Rooted in movement and place, the festival features original works that respond to natural and urban landscapes, offering a creative lens through which audiences can experience the interconnectedness of people, place, and planet.

This Earth Day, we reaffirm our commitment to using site-specific dance as a tool for advocacy, reflection, and healing. Through movement, we make space to imagine more sustainable and compassionate futures.
