Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre’s Luck of the Draw followed spiritual guides, in the form of four of Duckler’s dancers. Accompanied by LA-based musician Chris Garcia, playing indigenous instruments, the four muses inspired an artist as she painted a room-sized canvas, but as negative space turned to positive space each dancer found his or her own liberation in the movement.
