Heidi Duckler Dance’s annual workshop is rooted in combining movement, art, and performance. Across three days, participants learn from professionals in various fields to explore the ways we define space.
The workshop is taught by professionals in the fields of dance, storytelling, and architecture. Participants are then able to create original art with the information they’ve been taught. Teaching artists provide feedback on the work as it progresses, and the workshop concludes with a public final performance.
MAP, Live! is limited to 15 students, allowing participants to interact with instructors one-on-one. The workshop occurs in the spring, with registration opening in January. Artists of all skill sets and experience levels are encouraged to attend. A work-study discount is available to eligible participants.
