Isaac Takeuchi lives in Los Angeles, his main focus is cello performance and composition. He has been playing cello for 17 years. He studied cello performance at California State University Northridge. He has played in many ensembles over the years and is currently teaching privately and at various institutions in Southern California. He currently teaches cello, piano, guitar, violin, accordion, and origami. Isaac has played in many orchestras and chamber groups through the years. He has also played with many successful bands including Soko, Saint Motel, Cesar Saez, Chelsea Wolfe, and has collaborated with Heidi Duckler Dance on several performances and films.
